October Link List - 2014

I have not had a lot of shooting time these last couple of months, but I do have some links to share that inspire my pursuit of a creative life.

My current list of films to watch are Art and CraftCalvary and The Theory of Everything (get your tissues!).

Most original photo book I've seen for a very long time, You Look at me Like an Emergency.

The illustrator that blew my mind this week when I was hunting for books to share with my children, Shaun Tan.   The Arrival, in particular, is a good lesson in visual storytelling.

A bring you to your knees, TED talk by photographer Aaron Huey, America's Native Prisoners of War.   Which also inspired me to pick up this book from my library's shelf.

The world is wow!  Time lapse of the Rose of Jericho.

New to me artists Todd Baxter and  Acacia Johnson

New favorite recipes, Stuffed Poblanos with Avocado Cilantro Sauce and Butternut Mac n Cheese.

And this wonderful quote by Stephan King in response to one of his most asked questions.   "I have never set a single word down on paper with the thought of being paid for it... I have written because it fulfilled me."
