  1. Ha! Love this! I find what you said about lack of contrast in landscapes interesting since you kind of seem to seek that out.

    1. I know! I was thinking that as I wrote it. Sometimes low contrast (fog, mist, dawn) feels very 3-D and full of depth. Other times when it's just a little too dark and there are maybe too many clustered shapes (forests) it seems a bit flat as if I loose my depth perception. When we were in the swamp I refused to cross over a log because it was if I had lost all sense of balance. It was just like motion sickness.
